Mysterious Confectioners In Firestone

A mysterious team of bakers sold cookies in Firestone library tonight, operating out of a third floor carrell and advertising on its Twitter: @cookiecarrel.The account appeared yesterday, its info reading, “Rare books and special confections.” The account proceeded to make various cookie related tweets until today, telling its followers to “stay awake!  cookie carrel opens tonight. exact location deets forthcoming!”A team of our journalists set out to find the confectioners after the details were released in the following tweet just after 8 pm:yooooofresh pumpkin spice cookies w maple icing!3-12-Gbartercash / venmo also available$1come get it!Wandering around Firestone, we were initially unable to locate the cookie carrel. However, after tweeting at the account, it provided us with these easy and not vague directions: “THREE (12G), head northwest and look for the handle”Sitting down with the personality behind the cookie carrel (who wished to remain anonymous), we discovered that it was made up of an anonymous group of students, that the cookies were homemade, and that they wanted to start with “basic” offerings—pumpkin spice maple frosting cookies. Basic indeed. The anonymous collection of bakers promised that there are more treats to come. Stay tuned for updates https://twitter.com/cookiecarrel- KC
